
Storm finish seventh in conference tournament, Streicher in top 20
AMES, Iowa – The Storm women concluded their fall season this past weekend at the American Rivers Conference Championship at the Ames Country Club. The team contributed to a final score of 1043 through three rounds, putting them in seventh place.
Simpson's seventh place finish put them ahead of Nebraska Wesleyan and Luther at the end of the tournament. Individually, Maddy Streicher placed highest for the team, finishing within the top 20. Streicher also recorded the team's weekend-low round with an 82.
Kristen Roe led the team with four birdies on the weekend. Maddy Streicher was close behind with three birdies. In total, the Storm contributed 10 birdies on the weekend.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- On the first day of the tournament, Addison Brink finished with the best score on the day with an 86. Maddy Streicher and Kaylin Long followed close behind, each with 87 strokes on the day.
