
Storm women bring home victory at Waldorf Fall Challenge
LAKE MILLS, Iowa – The Storm women picked up a victory in the Waldorf Fall Challenge this afternoon, marking their first championship of the season. Simpson won the meet by three strokes, led by Kaylin Long and Kristen Roe.
Five of the Storm women earned top-ten finishes at the challenge, with Kaylin Long and Kristen Roe finishing in the top five. This marks the first championship by the women's golf team since 2022 at the NIACC Fall Invite.
The Storm also competed at the Waldorf Invitational yesterday, earning a fourth place team finish.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Kristen Roe and Kaylin Long both finished tied for fourth place at the conclusion of the meet, each shooting an 81.
- Madeline Streicher, Miranda Deppe, and Tessa Rounds all finished with an 85, tying for eighth place.
- Addison Brink recorded an 86, earning her a twelfth place finish, and Joann Martin placed 29th with a score of 98.
