Storm continue spring campaign at Nebraska Wesleyan

LINCOLN. Neb. - The Simpson College men's golf team continued its spring campaign at the Nebraska Wesleyan, finishing in eighth place over the two-day tournament.

Battling weather on day one, the Storm improved on day two by a combined 12 strokes. Jack Wahman, a mainstay at the top of the lineup for the Storm in his debut season, shot consecutive rounds of 80 to tie for 25th, the top Storm golfer in the field.

Isaac Roe also played consistent golf over his two rounds, shooting an 81 to finish two strokes behind
Wahman in a tie for 34th.

Bradley Kofoed, Garin Grinstead, and Blake Perrin also all shot 81's on day two, giving the Storm improved consistency through the rest of the scoring lineup on day two.

Jackson Mears (175) and Bradley Bayeur (183) also played as individuals for the Storm, with Mears's 87 on day two tying his career-low as a Storm player.

Up Next

The men will host its annual spring tournament, the Storm Spring Invite, this coming Wednesday at the Indianola Country Club.
