Storm men begin 2022 campaign at NIACC Invite

MASON CITY, Iowa - Simpson College men's golf began its 2022 campaign at the NIACC Fall Invite on Thursday.

The Storm sent 10 golfers to the meet with one team finishing ninth in team standings and the other coming in 11th.

Freshman Blake Perrin was the lead golfer for the Storm with a score of 81. Brendan Bayeur and Nick Campbell were close behind with an 82 followed by Jack Wahman who carded an 83.

Bradley Kofoed, Garin Grinstead, Tucker Vandervelde and Lane Sundberg all competed in their first collegiate meet with Kofoed leading the group with an 87. Issac Roe and Camden Ganzevled also hit the links for the Storm.
