Three players earn academic all-district distinction

INDIANOLA, Iowa – Joe Bream, Nicholas Warrington and Reed Worth of the Simpson College football team earned a spot on the 2023 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.

Worth, a 2022 academic all-America honoree, secures his second straight academic all-district award along with Bream. Warrington lands on the team for the first time in his career.

To qualify, all nominees must be at least a sophomore in academic standing, have played in 90 percent of the team's games or started at least 66 percent, and have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher. The full team can be viewed by clicking here.

The CSC Academic All-America team will be announced on Jan. 23, 2024.
