Simpson Athletic Communications places two posters in district rankings

INDIANOLA, Iowa -- The Simpson College Athletic Communications Office was honored by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) last Thursday by placing two posters in the top 10 in District 7 during the 2019-20 CoSIDA Publications and Digital Design Contest.

The Storm winter schedule poster placed seventh, while the football schedule poster was tabbed eighth in the district. The publications were in the fall/winter/spring schedule posters category of the College Division that consists of NCAA Division II, III, NAIA, NJCAA and high school programs.

District 7 is made up of institutions from Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, Kansas, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana,
North Dakota, South Dakota, Saskatchewan and Alberta. Simpson was the lone American Rivers Conference school to place in any awards category and was the only Division III department to place a design in District 7 for fall/winter/spring schedule posters.
