Feature Friday: strength and conditioning coach Craig Konrardy
Indianola, Iowa -- Simpson strength and conditioning coordinator Craig Konrardy is showcased in our latest edition of Feature Friday. Konrardy joined the Storm staff in January 2019 and previously spent some time working at Engineered Per4mance in Ankeny, Iowa. Konradry also has worked with the Baylor University football team.

• Coe College for undergraduate degree

• Does a barbell count? But seriously, my phone, so I can stay in contact with my family.
Favorite vacation spot?
• Any place that is warm
Favorite spot on campus?
• I have not been to many spots on campus, but definitely the weight room
Favorite thing about Simpson?
• The kids and athletes that we see every day
Family?
• Fiancé, Alexis and our fur baby Miko.
What would you be doing if you were not coaching?
• Probably work as a salesperson of some kind, but as a kid I always wanted to be a lawyer.
Best athletic moment?
• Winning a conference championship and playing in a regional final.

• Jason Sudeikis
One thing people don't know about you?
• I hold the United States Powerlifting Association (USPA) Drug Tested National Squat Record in the 100kg weight class
Hobbies outside of coaching?
• Training for powerlifting competitions, and spending time with friends and family.
Role model(s) and why?
• My father, growing up I did everything he did. I still call him daily if I need anything and he always has the answer. If I can be half the father/husband/man he is, I will be just fine in life.
