Sulentic named IIAC Player of the Week

INDIANOLA, Iowa - Olivia Sulentic earned Iowa Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors for the period ending Sunday, Oct. 4.

A senior libero from Truro, Iowa, Sulentic averaged 7.14 digs in 21 sets played last week, earning all-tournament honors at the Illinois Wesleyan Barker Classic. She had 138 digs, eight assists and six service aces as the Storm went 2-2 at the weekend tournament.

Sulentic closed the weekend stong, exploding for 48 digs in a five-set win over Adrian and setting a career-high with 54 digs and four aces in a five-set win over Rose Hulman on Saturday, Oct. 5.

The weekly accolade is the first of Sulentic's career.
