Storm women win four events in loss to Coe

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- The Simpson women's swimming and diving team claimed four medalists in a 116-73 loss to Coe on Friday.

Brenna Yeutsy, Alyssa Harris and Madison DePover claimed individual wins while the 200 freestyle relay added a title. The Storm are now 1-3 in dual competition.

Yeutsy won the 100 freestyle in a season-best time of 59.58, the first Storm swimmer to break a minute in the event this season. Harris touched the wall first in the 200 butterfly, finishing in 2:27.27. DePover posted a season-best time in winning the 200 breaststroke, finishing in 3:00.02.

Harris joined Katie Cardoza, Korie Torres and Jordan Yawn to win the 200 freestyle relay in 2:08.24.
