Simpson, Savaria appear in latest NWCA rankings
MANHEIM, Pa. – The Simpson College women's wrestling team checked in at No. 23 in the latest National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) NCAA Women's Wrestling Coaches' Poll. Individually, Kassidee Savaria is ranked No. 9 at 170 pounds.
Savaria currently leads the Storm with a 16-2 record, boasting a 12-match win streak and an undefeated 9-0 mark in dual action. She has recorded eight pins, four technical falls and four forfeits.

The NWCA uses tournament poll methodology for the NCAA Women's Coaches Rankings. The poll is determined by Tournament Power Index (TPI) point totals, which are broken down by individual rankings directly correlated to the placement points at the NCWW Championships: 1st=16pts, 2nd=12pts, 3rd=10pts, 4th=9pts, 5th=8pts, 6th=7pts, 7th=4pts, 8th=3pts, 9ths=2pts, 10th=1pt.
