Simpson softball earns spot on Easton/NFCA academic list

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Simpson College softball team was named to the Easton/National Collegiate Fastpitch Association All-Academic list, boasting the highest team grade point average in the conference.

Any team with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher was eligible to be named to the Easton/NFCA team list, while individuals had to maintain a GPA of at least 3.5. The team edged out Loras for the highest GPA in the conference, ranking in the top 40 nationally.

Additionally, the Storm had 23 players that were named to the Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete team. The 23 athletes were the most in the conference and across all NCAA Division III softball programs.
