The Storm entered the fall unranked, but after winning the Buxton Invitational on Friday, Aug. 30, they climbed the ranks. Simpson finished first out of eight teams and captured six of the 10 top spots at the meet, led by freshman Spencer Moon and Jonathan Facio, who finished second and third, respectively. As a team, they ended with 36 points, while the next closest squad had 90.

After a brief period away from competition, the Storm head to Peoria, Ill. for the Bradley Intercollegiate meet on Friday. The men will race at 5:45 p.m. in the 8K.
