• Ran in six meets during freshman season
• Grabbed all-region honors after placing 30th at the NCAA Central Region to become the first freshman since 1995 to do so for Simpson
• Led the team in five of the six races
• Started his rookie season by leading the team at the Buxton Invite by finishing second overall in the 6K
• Finished the year with a season-best 8K time of 26:18.6 at the NCAA Central Regionals
• Named a USTFCCCA All-Academic Individual
