Idehen scores twice, Storm roll Grinnell 4-0

GRINNELL, Iowa -- Enrique Idehen scored two goals, Jake Potratz turned in his third-consecutive clean sheet, and the Simpson men's soccer team beat Grinnell 4-0 on Tuesday.

A lightning delay halted the game early in the first half but the Storm (4-2-1) put it together in the second half, scoring three of their four goals.

Idehen struck for the first time shortly after the delay ended to give Simpson a 1-0 lead. The scored remained that way until the 54th minute when Brendan Owings converted a penalty kick, his second of the season. Three minutes later, Idehen found the back of the net again for the first multi-goal game of his career. Spencer Young rounded out the scoring in the 87th minute with his team-leading third goal of the season.

The American Rivers Conference Defensive Player of the Week, Potratz made six saves in the shutout. He lowered his goals against average 0.84, tops in the league.
