
Simpson Athletics unveils 2023 Hall of Fame Class
INDIANOLA, Iowa – The Simpson College Athletics Department is set to add two outstanding student-athletes into the College's Athletics Hall of Fame at the annual Red & Gold Celebration in October.
The 2023 Hall of Fame Class features all-region women's soccer player Erin Goettl Putrah '04 and All-American women's basketball player Kate Nielsen Smith '13.
Simpson Athletics will also recognize four award winners during the program: Double "S" Award winners Jessica Christensen Boltinghouse '10 and Troy Plummer '92 and Dick Buxton Award winners Zac Anthony and Barb Ramos.
All honorees will be recognized at the Red & Gold Celebration dinner taking place in Hubbell Hall at the Kent Campus Center on Friday, Oct. 13 at 6 p.m. Register for the event prior to Oct. 9 by clicking here.
The 2023 inductees and award winners will also be introduced during halftime of the Coe vs Simpson football game on Oct. 14.
