Simpson falls to No. 13 Luther

DECORAH, Iowa - The Simpson wrestling team didn't have enough firepower for No. 13 Luther as the Norse came away with a 37-6 win Thursday night in Decorah.

Jeff Sand (Waukee, Iowa/Waukee) took an 8-4 decision from Ryan Capuoch at 133 pounds and Jordy Ammons (Knoxville, Iowa/Knoxville) scored a 6-0 win over Quincy Voris at 174 for Simpson's victories.

Simpson closes the regular season Feb. 11 at Pella against Central. The dual is set to start at 7 p.m.
