Storm men in seventh after second round at IIACs

IOWA CITY -- The Simpson men's golf team slipped into seventh place after the after the second round of the Iowa Conference Championship, shooting a 319 Saturday at Finkbine Golf Course.

The Storm are at 632 after two rounds, seven strokes behind sixth-place Loras. With two rounds to play, Simpson is just nine strokes out of the top four.

Nebraska Wesleyan shot 305 Saturday for a two-round total of 602, good for first place and a four-stroke lead on Central. 

Andrew Lallier continues to lead the Storm and sits in a tie for 17th after shooting an 80 on Saturday. Korbin Sesker and Nick Hartman tied for Simpson's best round as each carded a 79.
