Hartman ties for first as Storm top Wartburg in dual meet

NORWALK, Iowa -- Nick Hartman tied for first place and the Simpson men's golf team beat Wartburg by 21 strokes in a last-minute dual from The Legacy Golf Club on Wednesday.

Following the cancellation of the Kirkwood Spring Invitational to begin the week, Simpson and Wartburg decided to take advantage of Wednesday's great forecast. The Storm shot 309 as a team and Wartburg shot 330.

Hartman carded a 74 to tie Wartburg's Tanner Randall for medalist honors. After that, the next four finishers wore Simpson red and gold. 

Nathan Eaton took third with a 76, Korbin Sesker carded a season-low 78, Andrew Lallier shot 81 and Blake Bender rounded out the round with an 82.
