He was named Iowa Conference player of the Week once and made one appearance on the D3hoops.com Team of the Week.

Boston, a senior guard from Des Moines, Iowa, started all 26 games for the Storm after transferring from Southwestern Community College. His 13.5 points per game ranked second on the team and eighth in the conference while his 51.9 shooting percentage led the team.

Mosby, a senior center from Chicago, Ill., closed the season as the only player in the Iowa Conference averaging a double-double with 12.6 points per game and a league-high 10.2 rebounds per game. He had 11 double-doubles during his senior campaign.

Junior guard David Mataloni of regular season conference-champion Coe was named the conference's Most Valuable Player. Luther junior center Tyler Wedemeier was the Defensive Player of the Year and Coe head coach Pat Juckem was the Coach of the Year.

Simpson closed the 2011-12 season 12-14 overall and 8-8 in the Iowa Conference, finishing sixth. For the second year in a row the Storm advanced to the IIAC Tournament, upsetting third-seeded Dubuque in the first round before falling to eventual tournament champion Buena Vista in the semifinals.
