Women's cross country comes in 10th in regional rankings

NEW ORLEANS – In the newest edition of the USTFCCCA Cross Country Regional Rankings, the Simpson College men were ranked seventh and the women came in 10th.

Both squads have competed in two meets this season. The men opened the season with a win at their own Buxton Invitational and placed third at the Les Duke Invitational this past weekend. The women also claimed the team title at their home event before finishing fifth last Saturday in Grinnell.

Simpson has two more meets before hosting the American Rivers Conference Championships on Oct. 29. The Storm will compete at the Aurora Invitational on Oct. 1 and the Platte River Rumble on Oct. 14.
