MOORHEAD, Minn. – The Simpson women's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision to St. Scholastica at the Cobber Invitational on Sunday afternoon.
Kelsey Kehtel scored 18 seconds into the game and Casey Mitchell provided an insurance goal in the second half for the Saints (1-2-1).
Stephanie Cox made nine saves for the Storm (0-4), who are still in search of win No. 1.
The Saints outshot Simpson 17-6 on the day.
Simpson will try to get into the win column Wednesday, Sept. 11 when it travels to Nebraska Wesleyan.
