Storm fall short at A-R-C Duals

INDIANOLA, Iowa – The Simpson College men's wrestling team hosted three ranked opponents and Nebraska Wesleyan as part of the American Rivers Conference Duals on Saturday. 

The Storm came close to a victory in their first dual of the day against Nebraska Wesleyan, only falling 26-18. Ethan Riesselman gave Simpson a win against No. 9 Loras, but the Storm were held scoreless against No. 19 Luther and No. 11 Coe.

Riesselman also tallied a win against the Prairie Wolves to lead the Storm with two victories on the day. Jonathan Valdez, Noel Torres, Jonathan Casaus and Troy Galloway defeated their opponents from Nebraska Wesleyan as well.

UP NEXT
The Storm will travel to Storm Lake on Feb. 8 to face off in a dual against conference foe Buena Vista.
