Storm land five placewinners at Under Armour Invitational

PELLA, Iowa – The Simpson College men's wrestling team saw five athletes earn podium finishes at Central's Under Armour Invitational.

Leading the charge were Jonathan Casaus and Trace Goemaat, who each battled their way to third place finishes. Jonathan Valdez and Kyp Ridenhour secured fourth, while Mazin Arafa rounded out the medalists with a fifth place performance.

Goemaat secured two pins en route to his podium spot, while Casaus, Valdez, and Ridenhour each registered one during their respective runs. Arafa delivered close decisions in his final two matches to secure his place in the top five.

UP NEXT
The Storm are set to travel to Mount Vernon for the Cliff Keen-Mike Duroe Invitational on Jan. 18 and will return home the following weekend for the American Rivers Conference duals.
