McChesney earns third Scholar All-American recognition

MANHEIM, Pa. – Dylan McChesney of the Simpson College men's wrestling team has been selected to the National Wrestling Coaches Association Scholar All-American Team for the third time in his career.

McChesney is one of 364 individuals from 88 institutions to be named to the team.

A native of Northglenn, Colo., McChesney finished the season with a 22-6 overall record and 10-2 mark in dual action. Eleven of his wins came by fall, with all but one of those coming in the first period.

McChesney, a business management and marketing communications double major, closes his five-year career with an 85-53 record and 45 pins. He earned All-American Rivers Conference honors twice and captured All-America status with a fifth-place performance at the 2021 NWCA National Championships.
