Storm capture their first victory of the season over Monmouth

INDIANOLA, Iowa - Simpson men's tennis earned their first victory of the year, defeating Monmouth 5-2 behind the efforts of Javier Robles Solis, and Grant Love.

Robles Solis defeated Matthew Savage in the singles No. 1 in two sets, while Drake Downard earned his victory via default in the singles No. 2 spot. Love picked up his second individual victory, winning in two sets. Seth Orta secured his victory as the No. 4 single, winning in two sets. Blane Wallace defeated his opponent in three sets as the No. 5 single.

In doubles, Robles Solis, and Love earned the victory, winning 6-1 in the No. 1 slot.
