Storm drop dual to Iowa Central CC

OMAHA, Neb. - The Simpson men's swimming team dropped an 82-45 decision in a non-conference dual to Iowa Central CC on Friday night at College of St. Mary.

Stephen Schmidt posted Simpson's lone first-place finish on the night, winning the 100 backstroke (59.45). He also took second in the 50 freestyle (23.65).

Cody Zaring added a second-place effort in the 200 IM (2:26.73) while Dustin Martens took second in both the 100 (1:02.01) and 500 frestyle (6:22.90).

Simpson will be off until January, when it hosts Iowa Lakes CC in the final home dual of the season on Jan. 13 at 6 p.m.
