Marty Bell to coach NABC DII All-Star Team

INDIANOLA, Iowa – The National Association of Basketball Coaches announced that Marty Bell, current Simpson athletic director and former Quincy men's basketball coach, will serve as a coach at the 2023 NABC - Reese's Division II College All-Star Game.

The All-Star Game features the top senior talent across Division II and is held in conjunction with the 2023 NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Championship. The contest will take place Friday, March 24 at 6 p.m. CT at the Ford Center in Evansville, Ind.

Bell will coach the West All-Stars, while Cedarville coach Pat Estepp will lead the East All-Stars.

The head coach at Quincy from 2003-17, Bell compiled a record of 240-168 in his 14 seasons. He guided the Hawks to five NCAA Tournament appearances and retired as the second-winningest coach in program history. Bell also held coaching stints at Drake University, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Lock Haven University and the University of South Carolina.
