INDIANOLA, Iowa — The Simpson volleyball team made a bid at forcing a fifth set but dropped a 25-22 decision in the fourth, falling to Nebraska Wesleyan 25-19, 19-25, 25-16, 25-22 in the regular season finale Tuesday.
Jacqueline Luth had 10 kills, and Hannah Lester and Niki Dean added eight apiece for the Storm (9-14, 1-7 Iowa Conference), who led 20-17 in the fourth set but couldn't hold on against Malory Dahl and Nebraska Wesleyan.
Dahl had a match-high 14 kills for the Prairie Wolves (13-11, 5-3).
