Bjorkgren to be featured on Hoopsville

Simpson head men's basketball coach Brad Bjorkgren will be the featured guest Thursday, Jan. 28 on Hoopsville, the only show dedicated to Division III basketball. The show airs at 6 p.m. on D3hoops.com.

Bjorkgren will join host Dave McHugh to talk about the Storm's turnaround in his first year at the helm. Following Wednesday night's 86-78 win over Central, Simpson sits at 12-6 overall and 5-2 in the Iowa Conference, good for a share of first place with preseason favorite, Dubuque.

Simpson was picked eighth of eight teams in the IIAC Preseason Coaches' poll following a 6-19 season in 2014-15. 

McHugh is the creator and host of Hoopsville, which broadcasts out of McHugh's personal studios in the Baltimore area. The show first hit the air in November of 2000 and is the only show dedicated solely to Division III basketball in the country.

Head women's basketball coach Brian Niemuth appeared on the show on Feb. 14, 2013 in the midst of the Storm's IIAC title run.
