Rockhold paces men at Storm Invitational

INDIANOLA, Iowa -- With a team total of 321, the Storm men's golf team finished fifth at the Simpson Invitational on Wednesday at Indianola Country Club.

Freshman Hogan Rockhold was the Storm's best golfer on the day. Rockhold tied for 10th with an individual scorecard of 76. This was Rockhold's lowest round as a member of Simpson's golf team, beating his previous best from last weekend of 81.

Two strokes behind him was Nathan Eaton, Eaton shot a 78, putting him tied for 17th. Also in contention for the men's golf team was Zach Kreider, Derek Maxfield and Knick Badker.

The Storm will begin play again Monday in La Crosse, Wis. for the Ronnie Eastman Tournament.
