Sesker, Lallier lead Storm in final tune-up before conference
DECATUR, Ill. — Korbin Sesker and Andrew Lallier led the Simpson men's golf team to a 10th-place finish of 17 teams at the Weist Foundation Classic hosted by Millikin last weekend at Red Tail Run.
Sesker had a consistent showing over the weekend, carding a 76 on Friday and a 77 Saturday to close at 153, good for a tie for 22nd. Lallier shot Simpson's lowest round of the weekend with a 75 in the first round, shooting a 79 Saturday to finish a stroke behind Sesker in a tie for 25th.
Ben Butler tied for 39th competing as an individual while Reid Cobb (t-45th), Nick Hartman (t-60th) and Blake Bender (t-66th) rounded out the varsity lineup.
