
Bream leads trio of academic all-district honorees with record third selection
INDIANOLA, Iowa – Three members of the Simpson College football team were selected to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, including Joe Bream, Zach Truitt, and Nicholas Warrington.
Bream lands on the academic all-district team for the third time in his career, becoming the first three-time honoree in program history. Warrington collects his second straight academic all-district honor, while Truitt picks up his first.
To qualify, all nominees must be at least a sophomore in academic standing, have played in 90 percent of the team's games or started at least 66 percent, and have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher. The full team can be viewed by clicking here.
The CSC Academic All-America team will be announced on Jan. 28, 2025.
