Storm compete at the A-R-C Championship

DUBUQUE, Iowa -- Katie Murano led the Simpson women's cross country team to an eighth-place nod at the American Rivers Conference Championship in Dubuque, Iowa on Saturday afternoon.

Murano set the pace for the Storm with a time of 22:15.1 to finish in 44th. With 22:43.9 as her time, Audrey Klein followed shortly behind to place 51st. Sophie Hall and Cat Lucht ended third and fourth, respectively, for the women's team.

Mackenzie Laughlin ran a time of just over 23 minutes to finish 71st. Emily Buccheit and Kylie Orr also ran under 24 minutes for the Storm.

Simpson is set to run again on Saturday, Nov. 16 in Waverly, Iowa for the NCAA Central Regionals.
