Women's tennis falls to Central

INDIANOLA, Iowa - The Simpson women's tennis team dropped a 5-0 decision to Central on Wednesday in a match shortened due to darkness.

The Storm (5-5, 2-4 Iowa Conference) lost three tight doubles matches before dropping two in singles play. The Dutch (6-1, 4-1) won their third straight match.

Simpson's No. 1 doubles team of Kelli Greiner and Kayla Reusche fell to Ashley Maley and EmmaGrace Walter 8-6. Cassidy Bierbrodt and Sidney Griffith dropped an 8-5 decision at the No. 2 spot and the duo of Megan Bradley and Liz Nimmo suffered an 8-4 setback at No. 3. 

Only two singles matches reached completion before darkenss put an end to the contest. Bierbrodt lost at No. 3 and Sidney Griffith lost at No. 4.
