Lein named IIAC Swimmer of the Week
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Simpson swimmer Megan Lein earned Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Swimmer of the Week honors for the period ending Sunday, Nov. 18, the league office announced.
Lein, a sophomore from Des Moines, Iowa, won the 100 breaststroke (1:20.46), took third in the 200 IM (2:36.62) and swam on Simpson's winning 200 freestyle relay (1:56.96) in a 112-52 dual loss at Loras.
Lein and the Storm travel to the UNO Invitational on Nov. 30-Dec. 1 in Omaha, Neb.
