WAUKESHA, Wis. – Averi Baas scored twice, Hailey Kowzan tallied a goal and an assist, and the Simpson College women's soccer team improved to 4-0 for the first time in 24 seasons with a 3-1 win over Carroll (Wis.).
QUICK HITS
- Baas scored her first goal of the game in the 39th minute off a corner kick from Cassie Nash.
- Simpson went into the break leading 1-0.
- The freshman from Omaha, Neb. tallied a second goal on a cross from Hailey Kowzan less than three minutes into the second period.
