Storm trio golf in Prairie Wolves Fall Invite

LINCOLN, Neb. -- The Simpson College women's golf team had a trio compete in the Prairie Wolves Fall Invitational at Mahoney Golf Course in Lincoln, Nebraska this weekend.

Freshman Madeline Streicher carded her sixth top-10 performance this fall as she finished 10th after trimming three strokes off her first day total. Streicher ended day one with an 88 to sit 12th before shooting an 83 to climb two placings with an overall sum of 169.

Freshman Taylor Elam showcased a 96 on the first day before firing a 94 on the final day to tie in 28th. Sophomore Hannah Mulligan followed suit by ending on a high note with a 102 to close the weekend in 37th. Mulligan erased five strokes from her previous round to end with a career low.

The Storm compete in one final tune-up before the American Rivers Conference Championships in October. On Tuesday, Simpson participates in the Iowa Wesleyan Classic at Schaeffer Golf Course in Madison.
