Storm men finish fourth in Bradley Intercollegiate Invite

PEORIA, Ill. -- In a field of teams mixed of NCAA Division I, II, III and NAIA schools, the Simpson men's cross country team finished fourth out of 19 teams at the Bradley Intercollegiate Invite on Friday.

The conditions were tough with the humidity, but the Storm showed they were fit for the weather. Spencer Moon finished 17th in the team's first 8K of the year. The freshman was followed by Jonathan Facio in 29th, Ryan Courtney in 35th and Shane Breheny in 46th.

Comments from Coach Moenck
"I'm pleased with how our men performed for our first 8K of the season. The weather created very challenging running conditions and out still ran well. Spencer Moon was just phenomenal for his first 8K ever."
