Football junior visit day a success

The Simpson football team welcomed more than 80 high school juniors to campus Wednesday, May 2 for the annual Football Junior Visit Day.

The future prospects came from all over the Midwest and got a taste of what being a student-athlete at Simpson is all about.

"Today was a tremendous opportunity to expose Simpson Football and our campus community to a very good group of current juniors," head coach Jim Glogowski said. "We are very excited about the group that attended and our staff is looking forward to the next year of recruiting."

The day began with a welcome address from Director of Athletics, John Sirianni, in which he shared the plans for future facility upgrades. Throughout the day juniors also toured the campus, met faculty members, enjoyed a barbeque and engaged in a question and answer session with eight current football players.
