DECORAH, Iowa — Anna Larson and Emma Veum combined for 18 kills and Luther beat the Simpson volleyball team in three sets Friday, 25-10, 25-20, 25-12.
Larson and Veum had nine kills apiece for the Norse (20-6, 5-1 Iowa Conference), who remained tied atop the conference standings with the win. Sam Sixta had 32 assists and Luther hit .333 as a team.
Elisa Wildy had a team-high six kills and hit .235 for the Storm (1-5, 9-12). Jacqueline Luth had a season-low four kills on a season-low 18 attempts.
UP NEXT
The weekend road swing continues Saturday when the Storm travel to Waverly to take on the IIAC's other frontrunner, Wartburg. The Knights (16-5, 5-1) beat Central in three sets Friday. Start time is set for 3 p.m.
