Fleshner competes at Division III Nationals

DELAWARE, Ohio - Bayley Fleshner competed in the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday, placing 20th in the 100-meter hurdles.

A junior from Rockwell, Iowa, Fleshner crossed the finish line in 14.64 seconds, missing the cut for finals. She was making her first trip to nationals, thanks to running a 14.43 at the UW-La Crosse NCAA Qualifier.

Fleshner's trip to nationals kept head coach Dave Cleveland's streak of national qualifiers alive. Since taking over in 2006, Cleveland has had at least one national qualifier each season. Fleshner's appearance marked nine years in a row the Storm have been represented at a national meet.
