INDIANOLA, Iowa – The Simpson College men's volleyball team opened up its 2024 season with a pair of 3-0 losses to Mount Mercy on Tuesday night.
The Mustangs (7-0) won the first game with set scores of 25-17, 25-14 and 25-10 led by Alessandro Spendolin's 12 kills. In game two, the Storm fell short 25-15, 25-15 and 25-9.
Simpson (0-2) finished the night with 18 kills and had five total blocks and one ace.
