Sprint medley teams take 10th at Drake

DES MOINES, Iowa - The Simpson men's and women's track and field teams each turned in tenth place showings in the sprint medley relay at the Drake Relays Saturday morning.

The women's team of Lauren Bucklin (Bondurant, Iowa/Bondurant-Farrar), Molly Sabers (Iowa City, Iowa/City), Sarah Hammel (Dorchester, Iowa/Waukon) and Catie Ellingson (Indianola, Iowa/Indianola) finished the 2-2-4-8 relay in 4:04.74.

The men's team of Marty Rounds (Council Bluffs, Iowa/Jefferson), Legrand Bien-Aime (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla./Stranahan), Kyle Yarkosky (Albia, Iowa/Albia) and Matt Stone (Boone, Iowa/Boone) ran a 3:30.17, just behind Loras (3:30.00).
