Storm roll to 5-0 win over Webster

FENTON, Mo. – Garrett Pochop and Josh Harry each scored a goal and assisted on another, both Joslyn brothers found the back of the net and the Simson men's soccer team cruised to a 5-0 win over Webster on Saturday.

The Storm (4-3-1) enjoyed their highest scoring output of the season, splitting their weekend trip to Missouri while snapping a three-game losing streak.

Nick Joslyn opened the scoring in the 22nd minute on an assist from Harry. Harry added a goal of his own just over four minutes later, getting an assist from Pochop as Simpson carried a 2-0 lead into halftime.

Simpson controlled the second half as well, getting goals from Louis Joslyn, Sam Stephens and Pochop to put the contest out of reach.

The Gorlocks (1-5-1) managed 10 shots, but put just one on goal. Zach McEntee and Austin Schafer split time in goal to earn the combined shutout.
