Baseball to play Coe on Sunday in Indianola
INDIANOLA, Iowa - The Simpson baseball team's Iowa Conference opener scheduled for Saturday, March 22 in Cedar Rapids has been postponed to Sunday and will be played at McBride Field in Indianola.
The teams will play a doubleheader beginning at 2 p.m. Game one will be a seven-inning contest and game two is set for nine. Though the games are being played on Simpson's home field, Coe will be the home team on the scoreboard.
Originally scheduled as a four-game set beginning on Friday, the final two games of the series will be made up at a later date.
