Paxson takes home top individual honor at regional qualifier

WAUKEE, Iowa - Breydon Paxson of the Simpson College shooting sports team was the top overall competitor at the NCSSAA Regional Qualifier.

Paxson continued his impressive campaign, highlighted by shooting the only perfect score of 100 in the men's trap discipline. Paxson also took third in the sporting competition with a score of 94, narrowly dropping a shoot-off for second place.

Paxson's total score across the three events was 292, edging out a pair of shooters from Concordia-Nebraska by just one point.

The women's performances were highlighted by Jenna Ducett, who tied for fifth in the women's trap event with a score of 94. Kylie Tierney was the top overall woman for the Storm, placing fourth among all Storm shooters with an overall score of 257.
