Cornell defeats Simpson in IIAC finale

MOUNT VERNON, Iowa - The Simpson men's tennis team closed its Iowa Conference schedule with a 9-0 loss against Cornell on Wednesday.

Adam Summitt (Urbandale, Iowa/Johnston) gave the Storm (2-14, 0-8 IIAC) their best chance at No. 2 singles, where he dropped a 3-6, 6-1, 13-11 decision to Cornell's garrett Russikoff.

Simpson closes the regular season when it hosts Minnesota-Morris in a dual at Indianola on April 30 at 3:30 p.m.
