Storm complete season by hosting rival Central

INDIANOLA, Iowa - The Simpson College women's tennis team faced off with rival Central at home to end the 2023-24 season.

The Storm (2-11, 2-6 A-R-C) faced an uphill battle as the Dutch (9-9, 5-4 A-R-C) took all three doubles points to begin the match.

Central took a 4-0 lead after a win at No. 4 singles, but Grace Peck got the Storm on the board with a 6-0, 6-2 win at the No. 2 spot. The win was Peck's third conference singles victory, tying Maggie Hall for the most conference wins by a Storm player this season.

Central claimed the overall match win after a victory at the No. 3 position, but standout Bella Tranquilino came from a set down to win at No. 1 singles to end the season on a high note.
