Storm women win big over Iowa State Club in home finale

INDIANOLA, Iowa -- The Simpson women's swimming and diving team won 10 events to beat the Iowa State Club Team 128-67 on Friday evening, the final home meet of the season.

Sarah Prendergast and Alyssa Harris won two events apiece to lead the Storm. Prendergast won the 200 and 500 freestyle while Harris touched the wall first in the 100 butterfly and 200 IM.

Cassie Bergman won the 50 freestyle in a season-best time of 27.95, Brenna Yeutsy won the 100 freestyle, Cheyenne Wiederholt won the 100 backstroke and Naomi Olsgaard won the 1-meter diving.

The Storm travel to Fremont, Neb. for the Midland Warrior Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 12.
