LINCOLN, Neb. – Sam Amsbaugh scored 12 points and shot a perfect 4-for-4 from the field as the Simpson men's basketball lost to Concordia-Moorhead 84-56 at the Nebraska Wesleyan Snyder Classic on Friday.
Tom Fraase and Brandon Giese scored 15 points apiece to lead the Cobbers (2-1), who shot almost 52 percent from the field in the second half and pulled away with a 16-2 run early in the half.
DJ Dafney scored eight points and Leif Olson added eight points and five rebounds off the bench for the Storm (3-3).
Simpson committed a season-high 17 turnovers in the loss.
